Today Everything is Azure
by Vladimir Solovyov (d. 1900)
Was that my queen -- here, before me, --
My heart beating with sweet delight,
soaring streams of compassion
illuminate my soul with silent light.
But in the distance, burning down,
a fierce earthly fire smoked from underground.
Originally translated by Ivan Granger. I found the Russian version and combining new translation programs with a little insight and have redrawn the poem a bit to give it a slightly more robust feel. Solovyov was one of the great Sophiologists who opened the doors for the rest of us to see the ancient truth.

Granger’s original notes
This short poem was composed by Solovyov in Cairo in November, 1875, apparently on the very same day ("today... here, before me") as his transformative mystical encounter with Sophia ("my queen").
Savor these words -- they are the brief, breathless first impressions in the giddy aftermath of mystical initiation and transformation.-Ivan Granger
