Straight Shots II
Nomadic Author, Tiny House, Magic
As I have been writing the Pandemic Diary that covers the life of artists during the days of the plague lockdown I noticed that I did not keep a record of the date when I finalized any particular selection for my book. Working while traveling and writing notes on paper or reminders on a laptop then rewriting and editing on the fly the dates escaped me.
Frankly the process was chaotic💡. Sometimes writing between show dates at the kitchen table in the RV. At other times scratching down notes on a spiral pad while working at a show or trying to remember something I heard on the radio while driving and then getting it down on paper. Then there were the legion of short essays I wrote that formed the first couple drafts which I cannibalized into shorter parts and rewrote. The whole process of creation was neither systematic or pretty. However, I did have an overall plan in mind to compile a volume that would create a doorway through the venomous fog of modernism.

The typical American single-family 🏠 is around 2,260 square feet, while tiny homes have an average size of about 225 square feet (generally under 600 feet). The tiny-house movement advocates for downsizing living spaces, simplifying, and essentially "living with less."*
We live in a tiny house by definition, about 185sq’ primary living space. BUT we also live in a tiny compound with a screen room, storage tent, and studio/shed; the total under roof space is a whooping 465½sq’. (the nomadic office in the above photo has been decommissioned for now)
Not complaining, really.

The first principle of politics is the magic of mass delusions, some might rightfully call that “casting a spell” although the term triggers the programed shields for many people. However, the reaction to someone who promotes peace instead of war and gets hammered for it should cause people to examine these circumstances.
You may recall👀 it was on 23May that I raised the possibility of the anti-war advocate RFK Jr being a viable candidate for President. He is an outspoken proponent for the principles set down by George Washington which warn us to avoided “entanglements in foreign affairs”.
Now RFK Jr. is all over the media. Both the New York Times and the Washington Post have slimed him for his anti-war stance. This is a sign that someone in the halls of power has temporarily arose from their slumber and manipulated the strings of their marionettes in the press. One might ask, Why are the power elites afraid of peace?

Just for the record, I am for peace but, unlike Kennedy, do not believe inoculations cause autism.
I watched programs on the Tiny Houses and thought why not just an RV?
