You have created a symbol of hope and endurance in this narrative. Intrinsic in this is also that of resurrection, of faith and continuance. Thank you.

Father Christmas deserves more credit than he gets. Overshadowed by the corporate Christmas gnome in red, Father Christmas has a universal appeal but is not commercially promoted. He appears in the Orthodox world as Grandfather Frost accompanied by the Snow Maiden. These are very uplifting and gentle characters who are sometimes seen with Saint Nicholas who is more often the gift giver in Eastern Europe. I think Father Christmas arose in this milieu along with the exquisitely drawn historic spirits of the Celtic world as opposed to the Corporate Santas we are smothered with.
